Jones Beach Air Show
Besides seeing the show at Jones Beach, is there other beaches nearby that you can see the tricks and anything else they do? I plan on going this year but was wondering if I could go to my usual Point Lookout beach spot and get a good view from there.

Last I heard there is no air show this year. Every year the Blue Angels switch with the Air Force fleet but they were called overseas.

They are still having it, but no blue angels this year. IMO the rest of the show will be so small, that unless your at the beach your not gonna see much, the angels are usually the part you can see from other places.

Thanks. I heard about blue angels not appearing. Bummer. Do you know what is the best field to go to?

It was a budget issue. Both the Blue Angels & Thunderbirds are performing at air shows all over the US this year.

It was a budget issue. Both the Blue Angels & Thunderbirds are performing at air shows all over the US this year.
The Thunderbirds will be in Turkey this year for an Air Show. There was an article about it in Newsday. And I think the Blue Angels will be there too.

I believe it will be the same Air Show that we just had in NC (their schedule is on the same website) and I thought it was a great show! My 2 year old son loved it!!
