July 4th Fireworks

So since it's Peanut's first July 4th, I wanted to make sure to go to an acutal plae that is doing tons of fireworks. I used to go to Jones beach alot, and that I thought would have been perfect. We would set up fort early that day, I'd get to work on my tan, Daddy would play in the water LOL, and then come night, we'll have a great show. But this year they aren't doing it. So, where else is there a good show like they used to have at Jones? I really don't want to travel too far since the traffic I KNOW will be awlful..I'm in Farmingville. Where is everyone else going?

Im pretty sure they're doing fireworks at Eisenhower this sat 7/3. DS goes to bed at 8 though so I'm not sure if we'll be able to watch them.

East Rockaway has a firework show at 9pm on 7/2

Patchogue is doing a show on the 4th...all the boats @ Captree are running there, but I'm sure you'd be able to see it from Shorefront Park or Corey Beach

The LI Ducks are having firework shows on the 3rd and 4th after the game

Thanks ladies! Cory beach does sound like a good idea...for then it's sorta like our original game plan at jones beach LOL. Ducks game could work, but I'll have to ask DH since I know they are sold out. Does anyone know if Bald Hill is doing anything? I'm right down the road from there....
