Just a little reminder
I'm a littel drunk and a lot unfiltered, so bear with me.
Remember what the holidays are about.
It's not about presents or who gets who what.
When you are getting mad at your husbands for not getting you the "right" thing, remeber that there are some of us that would give ANYTHING to just have our DH's back.
Remember there are people that have nothing, and would love anything.
Give what you can. Appreciate what you do get.
And rememebr that no matter what the spirit of the season is what is important.
I try not to step on a soap box, but I wasted so many years stressing and worrying over the wrong things.
I wish I had paid attention to the people that tried to remind me waht it was really about.

So true...and I needed this reminder, especially this year. Money is tight and I was stressing that DH and I could not exchange gifts which is so silly. Thanks for sharing

This is the 1st year in a long time I am really in the SPIRIT of Christmas. We are both unemployed right now....but we are together.
No stress about what gifts to buy for family or each other. There's no $$$ for it.....it's about being together.
I sold a bunch of stuff on Ebay so I could get my nieces & nephew a small gift each and be able to get DS something nice.
Enjoy the holidays with your son and those who matter most to you

A VERY important reminder...
It might be morbid, but I always get a little pensive around the holidays. I always wonder if we will all be here next year. It makes me so aware of how fragile and precious life is!!!!
