My b-day is a week after DD's. DH did not get me a card from DD for my b-day 2 years ago, right after she was born. I was soooo upset (hormones ), so he's learned that every holiday/b-day requires a card from DD too (could be handmade, doesn't have to be store bought)

In my familly, we dont' just celebrate our own mothers, we celebrate all who are mothers.
And I invited them all over for breakfast, so they kind of had to bring me something!

I got one "to my wife on Mother's day" from DH

he got one from DS that DH wrote in expressing DS's feeling from what he sees

my mom told me she felt really bad she didn't get me one I said "you're not my mother" she said "YES I AM" and I said "oh no, I meant I'm not YOUR mother"

and my sister got me one

I got one from DH and one from DS.

In terms of family members, one of my sisters bought me a card. My ILs, SIL and grandmother in law bought me cards as well.

i cant really answer with the poll...I got one card but it was from DH and DD...DH even let DD "sign" the card...sooo cute!

I got a card from DH, Mom and MIL (none from DC ~ I have to be blessed that DH even remembered Mother's Day ) When DS is old enough will be something to look forward to in the future ~ DS making his own cards!!!

I got 2...one from each of my godsons..
Then..1 "combo" card (bday and mothers day..Yes..they make those :))

I got one from Noah, DH, My Mom, My MIL, My SIL, My Aunt and my sister.

DH knows to get a card though, its not that I love cards but ots sp typically not a guy thing, and he knows I believe that it shows to me he put effort into finding and filling one out.

I got one from DH, one from DD, one from our cats (DH always does this...LOL), one from my grandmother and one from my parents. I got nothing from any of my IL's.

I got gift certificates but no cards from DS or DH....a little sad but I'm over it.

I just got one from my DC- the funny thing is my DH picked out a card that a grown-up would give their mother! He tried!!

I got 2 cards - one from DH and one from my 7wk old DS.

I didn't get a card from my parents but my parents bought me a glider and ottoman for Mother's Day.

My DH didn't get me a card from DS!! I was so upset ...Got a card from DH, my parents, my brother and sister-in law and my inlaws. Also gifts from all.

A coworker at work gave me a “First Mother’s Day” card which I thought was very sweet and thoughtful of her!
