Just kidding. I hate to be a beyotch, but I believe there is only one race...the human race.
We are, however, mixed ethnicities. He's Irish, I'm Puerto Rican/Italian.

Dh is Colombian & Ecuadorian (1st generation from both)
I dont know why but I NEVER think of it as "mixed race".

On a sidenote....when I was in school, and we took standardized tests, in the box that said RACE, I would always check other and write in HUMAN.

I am first generation American on my father's side. My dad was born in Paraguay. I am Paraguayan and Italian. DH is of Italian/Irish/ mixed European ancestry.

My DH and I are both very mixed ... I've always refered to myself as a "mutt."
At this point I can't call my daughter anything more then American or Human would even be better, because we don't have a specific ethnicity being that they are all generations away.
