Just for fun - what traits do you and DC share?
When you look at your DC, what is it about him/her that you can say - wow - that must be my genes?
I think Cailen definitely has my wacky sense of humor. He also has my love of music and dancing!!!
He has a lot of DH as well - especially his cool, sometimes aloof demeanor....

Making life challenging, she got extreme stubborness from BOTH DH & I. It's been fun already 
Picky eating habits from me  (payback for making my mother suffer for years when I was younger!)
Likes to make people laugh like me 
ALWAYS on the move like DH, can't sit still
Did I mention she's stubborn like DH & I

Picky eating habits and his shyness. Although actually he gets that from both me and DH. DH was very shy when he was a little kid.

He LOVES to eat (he will eat just about anything - as long as it is on my plate!)
His drama (he is a little drama king )
He is very lovable and loves to cuddle
Like DH:
His socialness (he is a little social butterfly)
His love of the swimming pool

Honestly I dont know....
What I see more in my kids are the things I have taught them so they ARENT like me....
EXAMPLE: I was painfully shy as a child. (for those who have met me..shocking isnt it?) I have tried to make my kids extroverted and social. They are definitely NOT shy children in any way...all of them are easy going with new people...
Does anyone want to tell me what traits I share with my kids??? I'd like to know....

DD is like me in that she:
is affectionate
loves music
loves animals
is sometimes stubborn
is independent
has cute feet and long torso
has my eye shape
DD is like DH in that she:
is outgoing
is a daredevil like DH was when he was young
has to stand in the kitchen while I'm cooking
loves to play on the computer
has his hairline
is built like a baby girl version of him
We both share a love for reading and she loves to "read" and be read to.

Well DD doesnt show much of her personality yet only being 3 months but she definetly looks just like me! Everyone calls her my mini-me!! I cant wait until I see her personality and what traits she will take from me!

She dances like me...and that's not really a complement .
She's a great sleeper (thank goodness she got that from me).
She's got my hair, my nose, my ears and my eye color.
I was teeny-tiny when I was younger...not so much anymore. Hopefully, she doesn't continue to take after me on that.
She's got my husband's skin though...she's tan already...and she wears sunblock everyday. But she came out of the womb with a better tan than me.
Her chin, however, is a mystery!! I dont' know where that came from!

DD is 100% me... well, ok she has DH's attached earlobes and his blood type but that's about it. Physical and non-physical characteristics.
DS... his first word was "booooook"
His blue eyes but then again DH has them too.
So far he's a combo of my DH, my dad (the kid will eat anything you put in front of him and is skinny as a string bean), and a bit of my brother... oh, please no more of my brother's traits

DD is 8 months old and already laughs like I do and tries to kiss her baby like I kiss her and hug her....it's precious. She also scrunches her nose, as I do...and has the same temper,

Physically--looks more like DH but the lips are definitely from me. His coloring is also more like mine.
Personality--hard to tell at his age but he is very expressive and easy to read, as I am. I guess we both wear our hearts on our sleeves! He likes his sleep, like I do. DH hardly needs sleep.

Megan gets her love of music and dance from me.
She also gives the same dirty looks as me, although I never realize I am giving them until someone calls me out on it.
She gets her stubborn-ness from me..but that can be from the both of us I guess?
