The only trait my DS has of mine is his hair thick dark hair..EVERYTHING else is ALL my DH even down to his fingernail beds I cant believe this kid looks NOTHING like me at ALL

Christopher likes to be independent, and so am I.
For Matthew....he wants what he wants and will cry till he gets it.
I was told I was like that when I was a baby.

when my DD was young she didnt look anythign like me- people thought i was the babysitter. As she gets older (she is almost 8) her face is changing shape, more similar to mine and i can tell she has my nose- as far as personality- she is all me.
DS is only 10.5 months so its hard to tell, he has DH features (much like his sister did) but my coloring- his personality is starting to develop and i think its more like DH's.

There's a lot that seems like a toss up because personality-wise DH and I have a lot in common but...

From DH:
Fair Skin (meanwhile DH is the one that's Sicilian)
Blonde Hair (childhood - will get darker)
Hiney - totally DH's

My dh says dd has my temper.. she gets pizzed if she doesnt get what she wants and has tantrums.

its funny to see.. shes dhs minitwin looks wise, but my attitude.. very funny combo.

Alex has DH's stubborn, spunky, spitfire, snarky attitude.

And from me, she inherited a ridiculous adherence to the "rules". The first thing her teachers asked me when we had our parent teacher conference was whether there is an attorney in the family ;-. They said they can see her as a non-profit attorney one day because she's really into everything being fair, and everyone following the rules

That's my future litigator right there!

Determination and drive...She climbs the 6 foot ladder up to her clubhouse in the backyard at 18 months. Shes extremely fearless as was I.

My son is definitely like me in a lot of ways. He has a temper sometimes. He loves to dance. He is very happy and giddy in the morning (after about 2 minutes). He eats very fast which is something that I definitely do. Oh yeah and he is stubborn as heck. But his dad is liek that as well.

ETA: DS is like his dad b/c DH is independent, defiant, a go-getter and a charmer. DS really turns on the charm around women its incredible. He is also very inquisitive, cautious and a con-artist like his dad. If i dont let him do something he will give me a kiss b/c he thinks I will let him do whatever he wants (and most of the time I do). He definitely gets a lot from his dad in terms of personality.

So far Ryan has inherited his mother's need for minimum sleep - although since he has been born, I've needing more! I never required a lot of sleep and in fact I was at my office til 11PM the night before he was born - now he sleeps very little at night - go figure

Maddie -
- an optimist, always thinks of the sunny side.
- I think we look alike although she has DH's eye (DH disagrees & thinks she looks like him)
- very easy-going
- dances like me (not a compliment either)
- affectionate
- "the gift" which is the ability to sleep in for hours and hours.

Joseph -
- sense of humor (we find the same things funny)
- same eye color
- sarcastic
- good at math (well I used to be, scored 100 on math regents)
- good memory, but will rewrite the past to suit his argument.
- picky eater like I was as a child.

Both are stubborn like DH & I.

so far she has my eyes, my smile and my hair color. She's also got a big butt and chunky thighs.

Personality-wise, she's very impatient and when she's hungry WATCH OUT.

DD def. has my attitude But with everything else she is just a mix of the both of us.

Only thing that is 100% daddy is her feet Her second toe is longer than her big toe (this drives me crazy)

Hmmm, hard to tell, but so far I would say we are both a little cautious in new situations. I think we're both pretty sociable people, but a little quiet and observant in the beginning.

DD definitely has my ability to crack herself up. I do this on a daily basis, and DH is absolutely boggled by it.

Just as an example- last DD started sneezing- and in between sneezes, she looks at me and starts laughing. So cute.

She is also a people person just like me. She is always looking at people and taking everything in.

She is also very loving and concerned about everyone. DH was a little sick not that long ago, and when he would cough, she would stop what she was doing and look his way as if to say "you ok dad?"

DS has my eyes, nose and chin. He loves to laugh, also loves giving and receiving affection just like his Mom. He also hates to be ignored, like me. If there are a group of us talking, we must "talk" to him too- or else he fusses. Once you acknowledge him, all is right with his world.

He is also impatient like me, and has to eat RIGHT AWAY when he is hungry- no willpower- just like DH!

Jacob has my pickiness with food.. he also is very very stubborn just like me, so we do tend to clash a bit it that sense. He also has my irish temper!!!
