Just got back from the ER... Worst mommy day ever! **Updated 2/8 with pics!
We spent the last 3 hours in the Er with Landon. To make a long story short, my Dh was removing our blinds to clean them, and Landon came crawling towards him and collided with the blinds. He cried for less than a minute and was back to playing in no time. About an hour later I was feeding him lunch and noticed a red spot on the white part of his eye. Thats when I thought maybe the blinds hit him in the eye, but he was acting fine so we called the ped. just to be safe and she called in a prescription for eyedrops, but she wasn't concerned. Landon then took a 2 hour nap. When he woke up, it was obvious that something was very wrong with his eye. He couldn't open his eye and was screaming, pus and tears were coming out of his right eye. We called the ped. back and told them we were going to the ER... turns out he has a very bad corneal abrasion. His eye looks awful. We have to use antibiotic ointment for the next 5 days and go to an ophthalmologist on Monday. I feel so bad for my little boy. he is in so much pain.
Update 2/8
He is doing a little better today. His eye is really red and looks worse though. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get the ointment in his eyes. We have to hold him down while he is screaming, kicking, and punching and have to pry his eyelids open to put the ointment in. We are definitely not getting enough in but I can't do it any better. Hopefully the doctor will say it looks like it is healing OK when we go in tomorrow.

Poor baby! the scary thing is that he seemed fine, and woke up with his eye that way for a quick recovery!

Good news is that the eye is the fastest healing organ!  I'm sure he'll recover in no time!
