I deal with this all the time for my job. It will get better and it happens ALL the time! Kids are kids. They heal quickly!

I'm so sorry Julie! It sucks when you see your baby in such pain.
When Christopher was just learning to walk, he fell and cracked his chin open, my DH thought it was nothing, but it didn't stop bleeding for hours. So, we ended up taking him to the ER and he needed sutures. The worst part, the nurse had to put him in this contraption that was like a straight jacket, so he wouldn't move while the plastic surgeon performed the procedure. It was horrible.
Hopefully, this is the worst and your son will be feeling much better very soon.
