Just moved from city… working mom looking for advice and playdates
Just moved to LI a few weeks ago. Big adjustment, to say the least. We moved to Rockville centre. I work 4 days a week (one from home), and have a nanny for my 3.5 year old and 8 month old. Haven't met too many working moms yet, and I think my nanny is also feeling a little bored since we were used to having playdates and activities all the time.
If you moved out here from the city, how long did it take till you felt adjusted? And in a good routine? Any advice on how to make the transition easier?
Any working moms have nannies or babysitters in RVC that are looking for playdates? or willing to meet up at the library etc., let me know.
Any other advice on classes, activities, etc is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I'm a SAHM (well, mostly...i work some weekends) on the border of RVC but in baldwin. I have yet to go but I hear Tuesday mornings at the rec center are fun! I'm sure the rec center has alot to choose from. My DS is 9 mos old. Sometimes we go to bay park or walk the boardwalk in long beach.
