Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
I wanted to go, but, was very hesitant this year with an almost 2 year old, whom, I know would not sit still.

Yes. For me personally, it's the most important part of the day.

Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
There are about 72 people that go to my Aunt's house for Christmas Eve - we have a family friend that is a priest and he says mass at my aunt's house - communion and everything - that way no one has to leave the party for midnight mass and no one has to wake up early the next day. It is great!

Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
Nope. Never have and never will. We celebrate Christmas as a tradition in my family, not as a religious event. I'm not even Catholic or Christian anymore.

Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
No, but only because our we run around too much. Our parents are both divorced and it the timing of masses didn't work out for us this year. We checked three church's.
We go weekly and plan to change our schedule next year. We were really disappointed that we couldn't go.

That is beautiful! What a personal, special way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and the Eucharist with your family!

Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
I usually go to CHristmas mass at 8AM but this year DH and I wanted to sleep in.
We went to the 5PM mass on Christmas Eve with my brother and his family. It was perfect because it was the children's pageant at his church so no one minded if the babies were not totally silent the whole time - we are definitely going to make it our new tradition!

Re: Just wondering...if you celebrate Christmas...
we used to..but i am sort of losing the interest in the actual religion.
my husband is still devoted, however i feel like a fake when i go because i am almost agnostic at this point..
so the answer is no
