I'm thinking of doing a keratin treatment for the rest of the summer.

Will it take out the frizz. I have long, thick, straight hair, but it frizzes like crazy

do you think that would be a good option for me?

I didn't notice a difference when I did it. I may have washed it too soon though.

how long do you have to wait to wash after treatment?

I used to do keratin treatments and loved them. My hair is fine (texture wise), but I have a lot of it. It's naturally wavy and frizzes like mad in the summer. The keratin did eliminate the frizz for me and made it much quicker and easier to style my hair. You do have to wait 3 days to wash your hair, though. During that time, you can't get it wet and can't pull it back in a clip or rubberband or even tuck it behind your ear.

I have done 3 different keratins and the only one that worked for me was one that I can wash my hair in an hour. I still didn't wash it till the next am but I think that one had the strongest chemicals. Probably not the best to smell all the chemicals but they do give a mask and it worked great on my hair. The 24 hour and the 3 day one did nothing for my hair!

that's what I'm nervous about. I wash everyday and always pull it up and/or clip it lol

but it would be amazing to not take 1 hour to dry

I have tried a few different kinds.

The 4 day one sucks

The 24 one wasn't bad\

My Fav is the one you wash out right away. That lasted the longest. But know that for it to really last you shouldn't wash it everyday and you need to stay out of the salt water. Salt breaks down the protein (thats why you need the special shampoo)
