I have two places to recommend, both in Nassau- Massapequa. one on broadway, the other on 107.
I used to go to Queens also but the time killed me.
I used one on Broadway. Blow Dry bar- it was $180 I believe. Worked well.
But
I like Well Light Beauty in Massapequa. I get blow outs there often and their Keratin is $120. Im setting one up soon.

Re: Keratin
I also used to go to Queens, hair club IB, for keratins.
I have been going for about 3 years to Cristina's hair salon in North Babylon. The treatment is $99. I get the rejuvenol spray product. It's a 24 hour one. I have been very happy. I went to another place about a year ago and tried lasio mocha and it didn't work on my hair at all.
I think it's a bit of trial and error since everyone's hair is different.

I go to The Look in Greenlawn as well, but I use Lauren (color, cuts and keratin treatments.)
ETA: I used to go into Queens for years (almost a decade) for keratin or Japanese straightening, but I'm much happier with The Look in Greenlawn.

I do it myself. It's super easy and you can buy salon stuff off eBay. Being doing it since 2008.

If they were closer I would use them for everything. Love that shop. I used to go for color to but I go every three weeks so I go somewhere close to home but wouldn't let anyone but that salon do my keritan .

Same here . Buy a big bottle, it's like $100 or so. I get at least 3 treatments out of it, so it lasts easily a year or more. It's a PITA to do, but it's so inexpensive this way.
