Kid Friendly restaurant recommendation near Rockefeller Cntr?
We are planning our annual trip to NYC to see the tree and the stores and I'm stumped on where to go to eat. I'd rather not anything like a chain (TGI Fridays, etc) but I'm open to any child friendly place or irish pub type places (not a bar, but you know, a place we could get a burger and a drink that is a little loud in case DS starts to flip!)

Playwright Tavern is a large pub, it's on 49th street off 7th ave. When I used to work in the city I went here tons of times with coworkers. It's always bustling and noisy so a kid making noise would be no issue. Food is always good too, great burgers and beer!

Mars 2112 is a few blocks down on 7th and 51st I believe. Very fun for kids! Rosie O'Grady's is also right in that area as well.

I agree! If you are looking for a simple place to just get a burger there is a bar/restaurant called channel 4 right by the tree on 48th I think.
