The article said "reportedly" which means it's not fact. Also, IMO I don't know why they need a fake baby, they're never with her anyway.

FTR - those were towels in her baby carrier. It was reported that she staged this "photo op" to prove she was a good mother after that story broke in regards to North flying on a plane with her staff and not her parents.

There are plenty of famous people who have children who are not hounded by the paps. The thing with Kim and Kanye is that they are attention whores. Kim would have no "career" if the paps were not following her around. If they really want to keep the photographers away from their children, they could keep a lower profile but they won't do that. I find it hard to have sympathy for people who complain about the consequences of choices they make who do nothing to change them when they don't like the results.

When you live for this shit, and you give the paps a play-by-play of where you're going to be so you're always in the spotlight, you're going to have to put up with people's negative commentary. Brad and Angelina have like 10x the amount of kids, and nobody says a negative word when pics are snapped of them... that might be because their every move isn't some pre-planned marketing campaign about seeking attention to keep themselves relevant and in the spotlight... (well, they don't need to go to such great lengths to stay relevant.. they actually have some kind of talent to contribute that doesn't involve filming their sex life and "accidentally" leaking the tape... but I digress.)

People post pics of Kim on a daily basis on these boards... I have yet to see one shot where she looks remotely interested in her daughter. So, it's not just this pic that people are judging. People also post pics of other celebs with their kids on these boards. Most of them actually seem to like their kids Chat Icon

(at least based on a picture). Even Britney seems to love the role of mom and she seems to have a great time around her kids (and I'm not a Britney fan either).

ETA: as for the shoes, I agree that just because one is a mom doesn't mean they have to pack away the heels and resign to a lifetime of sensible supportive footwear. I think the comment was more in reference to what it takes to be Kim and putting on "the show" (the 20 layers of face paint, glitter, corset, and 10 inch stilettos)... Being that even to go to the movies she has to put on "the kim show", I doubt a pic will ever be snapped of her on an "off" day in jeans, flip flops, and a t-shirt at the playground with her daughter. And the saddest part is the daughter won't ever have those memories... but, hey at least she'll inherit a killer shoe closet! Chat Icon

For what its worth, there have been pics where she looks interested... but I'm sure the argument there would be that she staged them.. *kanye shrug* LOL. I wish I was rich!
