Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint!
Masked men put a gun to reality TV star Kim Kardashian‘s temple, left her tied up in the bathroom of her luxury residence in Paris and stole millions of dollars’ worth of jewelry in the early hours of Monday, police and her publicist said.
Kardashian, wife of rapper Kanye West, later left France aboard a private jet from Le Bourget airport after spoken to investigators.
Five attackers, wearing ski masks and clothes with police markings, struck around 3 a.m. local time inside the exclusive apartment block where Kardashian was staying while attending Paris Fashion Week, a police source told Reuters.
Two of the men entered Kardashian’s apartment after threatening the night guard with a hand gun. Kardashian was not beaten, but the robbers put a handgun against her temple before tying her up, the source said. iTELE television said she had been tied up with packing tape.
The robbers stole a box with $5.6 to $6.7 million worth of jewels and a ring worth about 4 million euros, the source said.
Kardashian was discovered “badly shaken but physically unharmed”, according to her publicist, Ina Treciokas.
As news of the event spread, West abruptly ended a performance in New York less than an hour into his set.
“I’m sorry I have a family emergency, I have to stop the show,” West told the audience in video tweeted by fans at the Meadows Festival in Queens.
The Paris apartment block is a discreet building behind the city’s Madeleine church, with several secret entrances, often frequented by movie and music stars who pay up to 15,000 euros a night.
The source said the attackers fled on bicycles. Police found the night guard in the staircase, his hand and feet bound.
Kardashian was in Paris with her mother Kris Jenner and her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian to attend the fashion week. The rest of the family stayed in a hotel.
The robbery set social media alight, with many users expressing disbelief at the latest headline-grabbing event in the life of a TV star who life is continually documented on screen and the internet.
“Looking forward to accompanying album and TV show detailing event,” said Twitter user Jay.
Most comments, however, were supportive.
“Kim Kardashian is a mother, a wife, daughter and sister. Despite the fact that you don’t like her, being held up at gun point is not funny,” said one post by Alieuisha.
Paris has seen several armed robberies on high-end jewelry stores in recent months.
The armed robbery could add to worries about safety in Paris, hit by a series of attacks by Islamist militants last year.
Tourist numbers to what is traditionally the most visited city in the world, fell 6.4 percent in the first half of 2016 as many Asians and Americans stayed away.
“We worry about the image of Paris. This will be all over the news channels, imagine the negative publicity,” Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, head of the conservative opposition in Paris, told Europe 1 radio.

I'm thinking someone was informed that she was going to be alone.
And they fled on bicycles.......that I can't get over.
She is beyond lucky she didnt get hurt.

I thought the same thing about the guard. Someone had to be tipping the robbers off that she had all the jewelry and that she was alone. I didn't read where the kids were but I hope they weren't with her. The poor girl must have been scared shitless.

I find this whole story bizarre. She is NEVER without security. Then all of a sudden, she's alone and held at gunpoint? No family, no assistant no one? Something doesn't add up. Also reports say she's already back in LA?? You get held up and hop on a jet? It doesn't make sense. Something is shady.

The article I read said that the security was confronted with weapons and tied up. Im sure her security will be carrying weapons in the future.

Definitely feel like it was some kind of inside job with either the security detail or the place she was staying at. I can't stand that entire family but I do not think anyone deserves to be held up like that at all. I can't begin to imagine how terrified she was and all the scenarios running through her head.
I will say that I'm glad that the moment Kanye heard what happened, he stopped his show in the middle of a song to get out of there and find out what was going on with his wife. I know people will say "well of course that's what you should do" but Kanye is type one ********* and it's good to see he does have some priorities in order.

Pascal Duvier was out with Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall Jenner as they enjoyed a night out at the Arc nightclub in Paris.
They rushed back to the apartment after hearing of the heist.
After the terrifying ordeal early on Monday morning, Kardashian fled France today in a private jet.

I agree story doesn't add up, as loaded as they are to have millions $$ worth of jewelry, they have ONE bodyguard to share among the 3 or 4 of them??? Who gets him on Tuesdays? Article says Paris has seen a serious uptick in jewelry thefts, so you travel there with millions in jewelry including a 4M Euro ring and then stay alone??? The girl doesn’t even take a shit alone without a camera recording. Then she hops on a jet and comes back here right after? Wouldn't there be police involved? Since these are HER jewels we're talking about, don't they need her assistance, some questioning, investigating, etc.? Finally this is Kim K we're talking about. She has more haters than fans. Miraculously they tied her up and left her in the bathroom untouched and didn't rough her up, not even a little. Then they fled on bicycles. Sure, because this being Paris they probably couldn't afford diesel for the getaway car, and when you're stealing millions a bike makes more sense and will help you escape the crime scene faster. Five bikes are even better. And of course 5 bikes taking off at break neck speed at 3 am isn't suspicious at all. Did they each have their own bike at least or did they have to ride piggy back? Well I'm assuming that when you are in you're hotel room you don't need a bodyguard standing there the whole time. I think celebrities in general mostly need them when they are out in public. As annoying as they can all be I'm gladly nothing physically happened to her. Being a mother myself I can only imagine the horrible thoughts going through her mind when it was happening.

Bingo! This sounds like they needed some new material for what's probably a boring reality show that may be running out of ideas and getting stale. I don't know, I don't watch. I just imagine it to be.

Yup. Most jewelry stores don't even carry this much value in stock and this nutbag carries it on her person and doesn't have anyone on patrol or even a gun on the premises? Yup, sounds believable. It's not like they don't **occasionally** ( ) need to drum up story lines and publicity for their shows/brand to keep the public interested in their lives.
