Kim Kardashian was not under protection from her main bodyguard when she was robbed and had a gun pointed at her head because he was with her two sisters as they partied at a nightclub.
Pascal Duvier was out with Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall Jenner as they enjoyed a night out at the Arc nightclub in Paris.
They rushed back to the apartment after hearing of the heist.
After the terrifying ordeal early on Monday morning, Kardashian fled France today in a private jet.
I don't know, what's the point of a bodyguard if he isn't with you? . Especially when you are alone in the middle of the night with a ton of jewelry.
Can't they afford a bodyguard each?
Well I'm assuming that when you are in you're hotel room you don't need a bodyguard standing there the whole time. I think celebrities in general mostly need them when they are out in public. As annoying as they can all be I'm gladly nothing physically happened to her. Being a mother myself I can only imagine the horrible thoughts going through her mind when it was happening.
I guess but if you are keeping millions and millions of dollars worth of jewels in your apartment/hotel room you think you'd want someone there.
Well there was a guard at the apartment complex... just not physically in the room with her. Though security should have been beefed up with clientele like her and how much expensive jewelry she had with her.
Part of me thought publicity stunt, but the bigger part wants to believe someone wouldn't lie about this. Naive as that may be.
ETA: I'm just glad to hear the kids weren't with her. I do feel badly- that must have been terrifying.

It's not hard to surmise she has a shitnton of jewelry with her. Her engagement ring is 5 million dollars alone.
I do feel terrible for her. We may not like her but she does not deserve that.

I get all the "she prob faked it for attention/media/publicity" but what reason would the paris police have to go along with it? I think it's a true story and scary a.f. at that.

I feel like most loaners come with security with them.. I forget which show I watched where security was there from the jeweler bc the celeb had borrowed a piece. Maybe she had personally taken responsibility for it?

I was thinking the same. Think it was the Oscars or something, an actress had security on the red carpet due to the earrings she was wearing or something like that.

I'm sure celebrities get better treatment than you or I would. I'm sure she gave her statement and whatever else she could and if they need anything else from her it's not like they wouldn't be able to find her.
