Kind of a Spinoff to Loud Headphones on Public Transportation

OK, I admitted that I was one of those annoying people that listen to their iPod on the loud side while on public transportation.

I do this only to drown out the IDIOTS that talk on their cell phones in a tone that makes it seem that they think everyone wants to hear how their day went.

Do people that talk loudly on their cell phone in public places, particularly the LIRR, bus, ect make you nuts??? Have you ever told someone to take it down a notch???

It makes me mad I tell you Chat Icon

Yes, I can't stand the constant chatter on the trains and other public places especially in stores.

For instance I was in Rite Aid and this woman talked on her speaker cell phone - loudly - while struggling to complete the transaction at the counter. Putting the phone down was apparently not an option.

Don't get me started on the whole push to talk feature or speaker cell phone use. A little courtesy and awareness of your surroundings can go a long long way. Chat Icon Chat Icon

ITA!

that's more annoying than loud ipods. I am one to tell someone to take it down a notch. I make my convos short and low. If I have to be on an extended call I let them know that I'm on the train and to make it short and I will talking just above a whisper.

Don't get me started about the guy I sat next to this morning whose balls were so big that he had to spread his legs across two seats.

I HATE CELL YELL!!!

My mom and I were in the restroom of the Huntington Hilton and we could not believe what we were hearing. A woman was in a stall on her phone talking to her friend who was grocery shopping. She was telling her what juice, bread, popcorn and cookies to buy and talking forever in great detail about what cookies she wanted. I just flushed the toilet loads of times and yelled for more toilet paper. Who has conversations about food while sitting on the john?Chat Icon

Maybe the same person that would talk about her surgical procedures on an elevator. Chat Icon
