Kitchen bump out cost
DH and I are looking at a house right now that we absolutely love. But realistically, the kitchen needs to be bumped out another 5 feet deep to add on to the current kitchen at the back of the house. We've seen a TON of houses in the neighborhood do this but we're very concerned about the cost of doing this add-on. It would be approximately 75 square feet of addition to the house.
Has anyone done this before or have any idea what it would cost?

We didn't end up doing it bc we didn't want to deal with permits and tax ramifications, but we were quoted $9000 for a 2 ft x 7 ft kitchen bump out.
