LA Fitness
Does anyone belong to LA Fitness? If so, how are the classes? Can you use other LA Fitnesses or certain ones in addition to the one you signed up with? Trying to decide whether to go back to Golds or try LA Fitness. I mainly go for classes.

You can use any LA Fitness. Are you in Smithtown? I am debating between Golds and LA Fitness too. I think I am going to go with Golds - reason is cost of childcare. Its $10 per kid per visit at Smithtown LA Fitness.  So that would be an extra $30 a visit for me if I brought my 3 kids!

LA Fitness
I'm currently doing a week free trial and, while it is a beautiful gym with nice, new machines, I haven't cared for the instructors in the classes that I've taken so far. Why don't you try it for a week free and see how you like it? I believe you can get a guest pass on their website.

One of the guys working at the new location, standing outside trying to get people to sign up, he told me this. Maybe he had the info wrong! I guess I should look into it more!

The one in Levittown. I think the sales guy told me it is an extra $20 a month for unlimited kid's club or $5 per single day.

They are saying end of Sept or early Oct. The guy I spoke with predicted Oct 1. But you can use any of their other locations if you want until they open. Otherwise your membership doesn't technically begin until the first visit you make to their gym.
