Ladies due late Sept/early Oct
Is anyone buying a halloween costume for dc? Or just like a halloween related onesie. My baby will be about 4 wks old at the time and I found a couple of cute costumes online, but I was wondering if it is a waste, b/c she will probably be in the costume for only a few minutes and to take a couple of pics...really it's more for myself than for her i will probably get a onesie for the day either way.

I would do a costume thats comfortable. Most of them are pretty much onesies or stretchies anyway. Its their 1st halloween!! You need pictures!
ETA: I'm not due until Jan. but I decided I'm gonna be a pumpkin for halloween since I'm starting my 3rd trimester around Halloween!

I am!!! where did you see them?
I LOVE Halloween costumes so there was NO WAY I was missing out on this one.
I am hoping to find a pea pod one of some kind, since the baby will be anywhere from 3 weeks to a week old!!

I really like the lamb one, but I also like the cow b/c you can more easily tell what it is...but they come 0-6 months so I am sure they will be big.
Here is a pic of the peapod one too.
ETA pic of onesie I like from babygap. Image Attachment(s):

Well we have a halloween onesie from DS that we can reuse for DD. However, DS wants to go as Elmo so I think we may have DD dress up as a gold fish (Elmo's pet - Dorothy is a gold fish).

I'm definitely dressing the baby in a costume. I got a really cute pumpkin outfit at my shower, but I might just get her something different. I feel like every baby in a pumpkin for their first Halloween

Re: Ladies due late Sept/early Oct
I would love to get my baby a costume for the 1st halloween but we are both in a wedding that day. Hopefully I will have time to put the baby in the costume and take some pics.

I'm due 9/21. My son is 19 mos. I'm hoping to find Batman and Robin costumes, or try to do some other theme.
Even if they only wear it for a little while, the pictures are priceless!
