Re: Ladies that were induced....Please help me!!
I was induced at 37 weeks due to low fluid as well. I had a positive birth experience and delivered vaginally. I didn't need cervadil. I got pitocin and they bumped it up a few times; I gave birth 11 hours later. I got the epidural so I was able to rest for a good number of those 11 hours.

Re: Ladies that were induced....Please help me!!
I was induced for the same reason. I was terrified of being induced....it was my nightmare, but everything really worked out well. Try not to be too nervous!
I went to the hospital on a Tuesday night and they put me in IV fluids. I started having very mild contractions that night...so I was admitted and they monitored me overnight to see if labor progressed naturally. It didn't, so at 11:45 am on Wednesday I got my first cervadil, 11ishpm got another one and by 8:24am Thursday my son was born.
I never got pitocin, but my contractions were really strong around 3am, so I asked for an epidural. Within 2 hours, I dilated from 3cm to 9cm. My dr said some people have that type of response once they are able to relax a bit.
Good luck!

Re: Ladies that were induced....Please help me!!
I was induced because I was late. I went through a round of induction (12 hours of Cervidal/overnight and then a day of Pitocin) but DS didn't want to come out! I chose to do another round of an induction (AKA a Seral Induction) and I started Cervidal for another 12 hours and then a day of Pitocin. DS was born that night via vaginal delivery!!! They gave me the option of getting a C-section done after the first round of induction but DS was fine and I was fine (other than being impatient). So, DH and I opted to do the induction and if it didn't work by the 2nd day then I would do a C-section. Luckily I didn't have to

I had the best induction ever! I was 37.5 weeks, zero effacement or dilation.
Cervadil went in, worked like a charm, got my pitocin and an epidural, and I had DD vaginally 12 hours later.
My experience was very similar to this. I was a little over 38 weeks, had cervadil, doc broke water, epidural and pitocin, in labor for 12 hours, had my DD vaginally no complications! Good luck.

cervadil worked for me...so much so that I never needed the pitocin, which is the typical course! GL!
Me too..
I ended up having a c-section though. Not a bad experience.
