Landscaping Question -

Has anyone had a landscaping company clean out, de-weed, and lay topsoil/mulch in beds? I have three beds... Average sized, and DH ripped out all the crap that was growing in them. Now, they are just weeds and DH works non-stop so for his birthday (coming up) I wanted to price having someone finish this job. Just taking the weeds out, putting an anti-weed treatment down, and just putting topsoil or mulch -- I can plant myself.

Has anyone had this done? How much do you think a company would charge to do this? Can anyone recommend a good company for this - Smithtown area?

Landscaping Question -

I just paid $240 or something like that to have my entire property cleaned up. It was empty for a while before we bought, so it was pretty bad. They cleaned up all the weeds, cleaned up the brush hanging on our side from my neighbors, cleaned up the flower beds, and pulled out two tree stumps. I used the same landscaping company I have doing our weekly service. I'm in West islip though so I'm not sure it would be helpful. They're based in West Babylon.

Just used BT Greenscapes - speak to Bob (the owner) 631-872-2669. We're in Nesconset and we are very happy.

We had them de-weed several beds and around our pool and lay mulch all around. Very nice guy, his crew worked like maniacs each day they were here and we are very pleased.

I think we paid $850, but we had 1/2 acre yard and had a lot of work that needed to be done - including triming some trees.
