large gap in age for kiddies....
My DS will be 10 in Oct..and im due in January with my DD...
my sister and i were this exact age apart and HATED each other..lol
anyones kids this far apart?
any tips? I think a good thing is that theyre different genders, so it prevents a certain jealousy from my son feeling like theres a new boy in town...and hes excited for this new lil princess to come along...but i keep feeling bad like im gonna leave him out alittle :( and it makes me sad...hes been my only lil man for so long
any advice??

My kids are eight years apart. It works out fantastic!! My DS (9) is such a great helper and always has from the beginning. He adores his little sister and they have so much fun together! I think it will work out fine

Not me personally, but my mom and her younger sister are 10 years apart and they get along really well (as much as anyone can get along with my mom). I think it all depends on the home and the kids personalities, not necessarily the age difference.
