Last minute trip to Disney! Need any and ALL advice!

So we take a few trips every year to see the IL's in FL. We're going the first week of November and decided to detour to Orlando for a few days! We only plan on doing Magic Kingdom and only for 2 days (DDs are 3.5 and 1.5). DD2 will come with us the first day but stay at the hotel with MIL the second day.

I'm just about to book the Art of Animation hotel, but will look for advice on hotels too. I can't get a reservation for a character meal, but didn't expect to this late. Is there a wait list for these in case of concellations?

Oh...Is Sofia the First at MK?

We just got back from Disney on Sunday (DD is almost 4 and DS is 1). Sofia the First is not at MK but she is at Hollywood Studios from what I heard. We also only did MK for 2 days. I don't have any hotel info since we stayed with family in the Orlando area. You might be able to snag a reservation right before the trip as people cancel...just keep checking. You can also check with the restaurant while you're there and see if there are any openings/cancellations. I've heard if you go early enough to some breakfast character meals you might be able to get a table with a minimal wait.

People have o cancel within 24 hours so there's a chance you could get a last minute reservation.

Keep checking for the reservations you want - as it gets closer, many people cancel and there are openings.
