Last night was a sucess in the big bed!
I put him in their at 8:30, we laid down together, he turned over and fell asleep.
At midnight, he got up from the bed, so I went in their and laid him back down...
he did not wake till 7 this morning!
thank God! I have company and did not want to put my tough love face on

no, he is in a queen size bed, mattress and box spring on the floor for now.
I think he was done with the crib mattress also...
Since he is so young, it will be a long time before we put the bed back on any kind of frame.

He doesnt climb out??
he's not even 13 months yet. 
But, he climbed out of his crib twice. The downstairs neighbor said that with the first jump, he windows shook. I don't want him getting hurt...
The tent is out, one night he got upset that I did not go get him and kicked out a crib bar.
So, I have a totally empty room, a gate at the doorway, and a big bed on the floor.
