Last Supper
The Top Chef episode last week where they had to recreate the last supper for a famous chef got me thinking....what would you choose for your last supper?
I'm really not sure, it would be hard to pick just one meal - i would say pizza if i had to choose, but that seems so boring!
ETA: i had more time to think about it, lol....i would have: app - rustic pizza dinner - filet mignon, lobster mac n cheese & satueed mushrooms dessert - molten chocolate cake

Re: Last Supper
A soul food feast - Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob, collard greens and cornbread with lots of butter! And peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert!

Re: Last Supper
I honestly do not know! I am thinking I'd want to be 'surprised'. Have a super chef (or Curtis Stone cause he's hot) prepare me a fabulous meal of their 'bests'.
If I absolutely HAD to choose at THIS moment I think I'd go with..
Porterhouse steak grilled medium rare with a nice char and a good crust - served with a composed butter.
Asparagus sauteed with garlic
Mac and Cheese with crisp pancetta and panko topping.
Garlic toast
Tomato and Mozzarella skewers
and.. tiramisu for dessert.

Re: Last Supper
DH and I were thinking about this too! I think a big juicy cheeseburger, with a side of fresh bread and butter, and for dessert, a napolean or cannoli, some type of pastry...maybe some macaroni and cheese too...

Re: Last Supper
Oooh!
For an app, cheese fondue. A greek salad with lots of feta. A medium rare filet with blue cheese, a baked potato with butter and sour cream. And for dessert, a brownie sundae or creme brule.
Can you tell I like cheese?!
