laundry baskets
I have at least five. I bought them on sale one or two at a time.
The system I am using now is one for whites, another for darks, one for things that need special handling, i.e.: washed alone like bath mats, quilts or certain darks, also for things needing special stain treatment.
I always have one in front of the dryer to fold clean clothes into so I can carry them up stairs, and one by the washer to toss wet clothes into if the dryer is full and I need to run another load.

I have 4. They are mesh foldable ones so I keep them behind our hamper. I don't remember them being that expensive.

I use the blue Ikea bags. Easier for me to carry up and down the stairs.

How are they holding up? For laundry I use tj max/ marshals shopping bags and they are staring to fall apart.

Very well. I have them for a few years, and DH likes using them too. I like them because they open quite wide and hold a lot.

laundry baskets
I have one.
I fold and put the clothes in it as I am taking them out of the dryer, then just put them away as the next load is drying. I repeat the above for all cycles - whites, colors, darks, towels etcc

That's exactly what I do too! I don't have a need for more than one basket.

Re: laundry baskets
We have 2 foldable mesh ones, one standing one w a laundry bag for DS's room, and will do the same for DD's room.
We also have 1 laundry basket but DS has taken that over as his new favorite "chair" when he watches tv.

Re: laundry baskets
I have at least 5. 3 are from Kmart, 1 is probably from BBB and I don't know where the others came from.
It bugs both me and my DH that my baskets aren't all the same, but I feel guilty just getting rid of perfectly good baskets just because they're not all the same color/size.

I have one and I think it was part of a gift for my bridal shower. 90% of the time I don't even use the one I have....if we use it we tend never to put away the clean clothes so I stopped using it.

1 basket. Martha Stewart from Kmart YEARS ago. I'm surprised at how it's held up. By years...I'm thinking 12+?

Re: laundry baskets
I have two that are deep so they serve as both hamper and basket - one for lights, one for darks (we sort as we get undressed). Target, about $15 each. Then 2 small cube baskets, one for delicates and one for towels or misc.

I have 2. I keep out hampers in the basement where our machines are, so one stays down there for clothes coming out of the dryer, the other stays upstairs to bring dirty laundry down to the hampers.

I have three, 2 are hard white plastic and one is a foldable mesh. It's my favorite because it's big but lightweight and very easy to carry up and down the stairs.

Re: laundry baskets
I have 6 for sorting dirty laundry and then 4 more for sorting once it's clean and folded. I really need 1-2 more. And it drives me nuts that mine don't match also...
