Re: Laundry Detergent
For DD#1 I used Dreft. For DD#2 I'm going to use the HE Tide Free and Clear. My pediatrician insists that Dreft is marketing, and there is no HE version anyway that I can use with my frontloader.

THANK YOU!!! I've had this question for a while but never found out. Tide Free and Clear it is for me as well - we need the HE too.
Theresa - I've seen the target version on the shelf - it's right next to the dreft and they even make the bottle look pretty similar (white with a pink decal).

Hi!
Does anyone know what the difference is?
Free and Clear ? Dreft? or the target brand one?

Babies R Us also sells Baby Magic laundry detergent. Cheaper than Dreft and smells exactly the same

Re: Laundry Detergent
I prefer Ivory snow. I have used Dreft, Baby All and Ivory Snow. I don't think Baby All cleans as well.

Re: Laundry Detergent
We use the Method HE baby detergent (which I buy at Target). Since I have a front load machine I needed a detergent that was meant for high efficiency machines. In the 5 months that we have been using it I love it.

This is what I plan on using...I love the regular Method detergent so I figured I'd give the baby one a try. Glad to hear that you love it!

I use that too......basically any detergent without added fragrances or extras is OK.
Dreft IS just a marketing ploy.....

Re: Laundry Detergent
The Target brand is Method. It's designed for HE machines though, which we don't have. I got some Dreft at my shower, so I'll use that initially, though I'll probably go with Tide free and clear in time (we use that ourselves anyway). Ivory Snow is supposed to be okay too, though I don't really see it around much.

I used Dreft for the first 6mths. But now only use ALL CLEAR on all our clothes. I will use ALL CLEAR with DD#2 as well. No fabric softner.

All Free and Clear is great also. We switched to this after a few months of using Dreft.

I have to disagree. Dreft got every single stain out of DDs' clothes. The second I switched to All Free & Clear there are stains left in bibs, onesies and a lot of their clothes.
I bought the Dreft spray & wash and I use it on their nicer clothing. If it wasn't so expensive I would have switched back to Dreft - it took out EVERY stain!
