Laundry question

Ok, so at what point did you ladies stop being super careful with laundry... Meaning - if you were using Dreft to wash DC's clothing, when did you stop?

Re: Laundry question

When I realized the baby was leaning up against my clothes (which were washed in Tide) without a reaction.

Re: Laundry question

I would throw a piece of her clothing in here and there and nothing happened.
As soon as I went through my first bottle of Dreft, I didn't buy another one. She was maybe 6 or 7 months..?
I don't even buy the "soft" stuff, I use regular detergent.

Re: Laundry question

Thank you ladies... I was curious how long it took for their skins to become less sensitive than norm...

Re: Laundry question

My DD is 13 months and I still use Dreft. It's only our second big bottle. Maybe after this one is gone I'll switch over to All Clear.

Re: Laundry question

I wash all of our clothes together and have done so since DD was a few weeks old. I use Tide w/ Downy or Purex and have never had any skin issues with her at all.

Re: Laundry question

I never used Dreft. I do wash his clothes in a separate load, but I use All Free and Clear or Purex Free and Clear. But I use that really b/c my dog is allergic to dyes and perfumesChat Icon

Re: Laundry question

Okay, so I'm just gonna use up this Dreft that I wimped out and bought the other day.... lol - long day, I was tired, and just wanted to get something for her clothes - and see how it goes with washing her clothes with our stuff...

I have sensitive skin, and if I can get away with using what I use for me... maybe it won't be so bad for her when she's a few months old!
