Laundry question.

I washed all of my baby's clothes before he was born. My question is now can I mix his laundry with mine?

TIA

Re: Laundry question.

We've always mixed DC clothes with ours. As long as DC doesn't have overly sensitive skin, it should be fine.

Re: Laundry question.

I'm sure you can. I did not do this until recently being the neurotic Mom that I am, but logically, I doubt there is any problem with this unless the clothing is germy or very dirty.

Oh, I was going to say, I use Tide Free for all of our clothes. It's probably best to use a detergent without dies and perfumes until you see if DC has sensitive skin.

Re: Laundry question.

We use All free and clear and all of our clothes. But I can't mix them yet only because with the 2 girls, they make a full load. If they didn't though, i'd mix em.Chat Icon

Re: Laundry question.

At 11 months, I still separate DS's laundry and wash in Dreft.

Re: Laundry question.

At 18 months, I still separate DS's clothes and use Dreft! I bought another bottle at BJs a few months ago (kind of a long story...) by mistake so I am still using that. Once I finish it, I will just use All Free and Clear for DS and the new baby.
Just because we have separate hampers, it is just easier to keep the baby's laundry separate. I also don't use dryer sheets on the baby's clothes, just ours.

Same here even though we use All Free & Clear. I think it's a timing thing really. Although I do like Dreft or All Baby also.

I use Tide free & clear on everyone's clothes but still seperate the kids clothes.
It is so easy to just take a hamper, wash what's in it, fold it and just put it back in the room instead of going to room to room (yes I am that lazy when it cliomes to laundry Chat Icon ).

Re: Laundry question.

Well, since he touches my clothing when I hold him, I did not see the point in not wash our clothing together (except socks and underwear). We use the free & clear detergents for everything.

Re: Laundry question.

I used free and clear for the first 6 months, now I use scented detergent but I still wash her clothes separate only because she has a separate hamper

Re: Laundry question.

I wash it all together with regular detergent. I'm fortunate to have children without skin issues though.
