Learning to read: recommend books?
My 4-year-old is starting to read, and I'd like to find books she can start to read herself. I've heard the Bob Books recommended before, but I checked them on Amazon and they seem to be too basic for her. She loves funny books... can anyone recommend any funny early readers?

There are 2 series that come to mind and you might have to partner read with her at first..both by mo Willems..the cat the cat series and the elephant and piggie series...if I think of more, I'll let you know...but those are hilarious and a lot of the words are sight words, etc.
