Leggings - update
What are your favorite leggings?
Looking for solid black, brown and gray so I’m not looking for LulaRoe.
Update - so I’ve tried a few - Vera Wang, Sonoma, A New Day, Jenny Boston and my favorite is the A New Day Fleece Lined High Waisted Seamless Legging.

I do love LulaRoe leggings but I haven’t been able to get any black ones recently. A lot of consultants i know are pairing them with tops as outfits which I can’t stand.
I’m also trying to find different ideas as the last few pairs I got of LulaRoe have ripped.

Leggings
My favorites have come from Walmart. They are in the women's section, hanging on a rack for like $4. They are thick enough to not be see through (I wear long shirts with my leggings though), don't fall down, and serve their purpose. I just bought brown, navy the other day.

Leggings
I third the Vera Wang ones at Kohls. Every fall I buy a pile of them in neutral colors. They wear well; don't fade or pill much considering I wear the heck out of them.

Re: Leggings
I just bought a few pairs on a whim at Walmart for $5 each. The feel just like LulaRoe leggings, they're so soft and thick. I'm sure they won't hold up great, but for $5 I can afford to re-buy them every few months.
TBH I have a few LulaRoe leggings and they are not holding up nearly as well as they *should* for the price they charge.

Leggings go over your legs so they are therefore pants. They aren't a skirt. They aren't shorts. I never understood that whole "leggings aren't pants" thing. Yet this new awful trend in jeans that are torn up to expose your entire thigh- those are pants somehow and leggings aren't?

I rarely wear them, but when I do I wear a shirt or dress that covers my ass. I've always heard the "leggings aren't pants" thing too...when people where short shirts with them. Unless they're super thick...you can see everything! I'd be way too self conscious too!

I have had to tell my daughter this a few times...leggings aren't pants LOL. I think they look awful with shirts that don't cover your butt. They look like you are wearing a shirt and a pair of tights.

I agree, I never got the "leggings aren't pants" argument. As long as you wear an appropriate top, they're fine.

I mean my "work" pants are just as tight in the ass. But maybe it's because my ass is my best asset so I don't mind showing it off.

I own a ton of LLR leggings, and there are a few that wore and washed like crap, fading and pilling, but never once had a pair rip.

Re: Leggings
I like H&M leggings. I also don’t mind Gap or Old Navy.
As for the leggings aren’t pants: I treat them like tights. You can see through them. I need to cover that up. No one is going to want to see someone in leggings without their butt covered.

My leggings are not see through. I have tights that I wear with dresses- those are semi-see through. Leggings are a thicker fabric and I have never been able to see through my leggings. At least the ones I buy. And if camel toe is an issue, they don't fit right.
(Eta- i've never heard a complaint from my DH or any guy I know about seeing a woman's ass in leggings. Quite the opposite actually. Now and ass in tights- yeah that's a no. But thick leggings or yoga pants- DH loves that! Now my ass in jeans- that's another story- i hate how my ass looks in jeans- jeans tend to flatten my ass and I have a booty!)

I have been fortunate that I don’t have that problem. But still cover it up! No one wants to see your underwear!

Well any man would love to see that!
I have thick leggings and thin leggings. I still cover myself up with both. That’s me, though. You do you.

Honestly, most of my shirts cover at least part of my butt. I don't really own any shirts that are super short anyway. But I know there are times some cheek might be visible. But again, they are as thick as my work pants so I never thought twice!
