No.

I'd be surprised that ANYONE would be attracted to my post workout, sweaty, crazy haired, towel wrapped self. Chat Icon

but, would you feel the same if a man was in there?

I'd be uncomfortable if it was guys. I know it's a double standard, but I can't help it.

I feel the same way (about both comments Chat Icon ). I don't know if it makes sense, but I feel like since another woman has the same equipment as me, it wouldn't bother me the same way as being naked in front of a guy.

Re: Lesbians, the gym locker room, and you.

i dont like to change in front of ANYONE..

BUT i'd MUCH rather change in front of a room full of lesbians than one man.

women and men are so different. a lesbian is not the same as a man. that is comparing apples and oranges.

men think with their dycks and are GOING to check you out. women/lesbians don't think with their vaginas, and they probably are not scoping out the bodies in the locker room.

i am bisexual, and i dont stare at women who change in front of me.

I shower at the gym every morning. My best friend is a lesbian. I don't think too hard about about either of these Chat Icon

I didn't either. and like I said, I don't strip regardless.

I also have a weekspot for hot women Chat Icon

BUT, I saw a woman LEERING at another woman today as she was drying off.

it was so....sexually charged the stare (she was staring at the womans asss) that I FELT it as I walked by.

OK - thats another story - but I have been leered at in a gym by men, and it made me uncomfortable as well - with my clothes on and sweating - so I dont think its a matter of who is attracted to who, but what they do with that attraction - I dont like to be leered at... if you can check me out and not be creepy about it, then its all good - but leering - gay, straight, or upside down, bothers the heck out of me!!!

Very well put!! I totally agree!

I think its a little different being checked out by a woman than by a man, since she has the same privates as you and women usually do it very discreetly...now if she was STARING at me then that'd be a little uncomfortable. With that said, I never did mind changing in front of other women, but I did it discreetly...I had a towel around me or I would turn around when putting on my undergarments...

I always wondered though, what went through the women's minds that paraded the locker room with their beavers hanging outChat Icon Usually they were older, skinny and with unattractive bodies...lesbians perhaps???

Re: Lesbians, the gym locker room, and you.

I hear what you're saying - it can be a double standard at times. If I know someone is a lesbian, I do feel more self conscious. But as my mother often says "Don't flatter yourself, they're not looking at you". Although clearly in the situatio you dscribed, that woman was looking at the other one.

I don't change in the locker room, just walk through it. If someone thought I looked sessy after the treadmill...that would rock!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ITA. Being a jerk isn't related to sexual preference.

It's not who is doing it, it's how it's done.

With that said, I've been hit on by both men & women. In my experience, women are more respectful to each other.

Re: Lesbians, the gym locker room, and you.

I really wouldnt care. I'm fine changing my clothes in the locker room - but I do it quickly and dont walk around naked. I just dont understand the appeal of that.
