Re: let's be honest....

I've kept exercising as much as before my BFP if not more since day 1. It actually helped me with the exhaustion. But I'll be 100% honest with you, it has not helped to keep the pounds off... less than 2 weeks to go and I'm up 35-37 pounds depending on the day. I just keep telling myself it's muscle weight since I'm still lifting... but who knows?!?! LOL

I try to take a 30 minutes walk everyday. It was hard to keep up with in the summer.

Re: let's be honest....

Nope, I'm not exercising at all like I should. Me & Dh used to go walking every night together, but lately I'm just SOOOO tired after work. I'm starting to think that maybe I get enough of a workout right there at my job every day

Re: let's be honest....

not in my first trimester, i haven't! i was dizzy everytime i lifted up my head up and threw up so much that exercising was out of the question.

i'm now taking a prenatal yoga once a week (and doing some of the exercises at home), and i take my dogs out for long walks. i'm quite the athlete, what can i say Chat Icon.

Re: let's be honest....

Yes, I go to the gym 4 or 5 days a week. I either take a step class, weight class, or yoga class for an hour each day, or do 35 mins on the elliptical.

But I don't have a job and this has been my daily routine for the past year. I go to the gym when DH goes to work. It keeps me involved. So I just kept at it after becoming PG.

Re: let's be honest....

I wish I was exercising like thought I would. I was a very active person before and when I first got my BFP...then all-day sickness kicked in and I could hardly function, let alone exercise. By the time it passed around 17 weeks, I was so off my routine. I work out here and there with weights and walking, but I'm so not consistent.

No exercising going on over here! But keeping up after my 20 month old is enough of a workout for me!

Re: let's be honest....

Not here. I tried to go keep up my running routine after my bfp... and my chest hurt so much I thought my b00bs were going to fall off.

You're going to gain weight - which is a good thing. It means the baby's growing.

DC#1 I worked out faithfully until I was 8 mos.

DC#2 I was too sick to work out.

I gained 45 and 50 lbs respectively, and 3 mos PP am at the exact same place...

I went to the gym at least three times a week during my first tri, but I also had a personal trainer. Now that my sessions are up, I haven't gone in at all Chat Icon

Re: let's be honest....

In the beginning I was walking every night for a half hour but the last few weeks have been rough with this fatigue and nausea and other family issues we have had to deal with after work.

So instead, ive been taking the stairs at work and just trying to move more during the day, since I sit at a desk all day long. Oh and I do stretch at night at home too.
