If you have credit card debit, transfer it to a 0% card.
Save whatever extra money you have, even if it's 100 dollars a month.
Try selling old things that you own (on ebay or craigslist), instead of throwing them out.

I buy my DH all dress pants & dress shirts that I can wash. No dry cleaning that way!! Thankfully he doesn't have to wear suits. (my bosses pay for mine, so that's a help for me since I wear a suit every day!)
same here! DH loves the wrinkle free dress shirts from Eddie Bauer. they really do wash beautifully. I love them even more b/c my iron is collecting dust
