Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
We're going to be re-doing our bathroom and I have so many ideas swirling inside my head, I just don't know where to begin!
Did you pick the same color tiles on the floor as for the wall? Can they be 2 different shades from the same family?
What size did you pick for your floor and wall?
What type of tiles did you choose?

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
usually you use larger tiles on the floor and smaller ones on the wall, but you can use the same on both I just wouldn't do a huge tile then
as for the being the same, you can use same or different its all personal taste

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
Our new bathroom is very small, so we used 2 inch tiles. It's for DC, so the smaller tile, and the fact that it's texture, gives it much more traction than a larger tile. The floor tiles are a medium grey, and the shower surround is white with grey veins. The walls are painted grey.

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
our tile walls are like a beigy pinkish (more beige) and we did travertine tiles on the floor so it's a little bit darker than the wall tiles.

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
i just ordered ours... i picked beige for the walls and chocolate brown for the floors. they are the same tile, just different color, so they are the same design/texture - which is more of a wood grain look, for lack of a better term to describe them. we ordered 12x12 for the floor and i think the walls are 6x24 (it's a brick pattern lay-out). the bigger tile you pick, the bigger your bathroom will look and the less grout lines!

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
We used golden travertine on both the floors and walls. We used 12"x12" everywhere except for the shower floor which is 2"x2" and a decorative border in the shower which is 2"x2" as well.

Re: Let's talk bathroom tiles wall and floor
We have a large bathroom 12' x 6' (approx) and we ended up going with 16" floor tiles in a darker color and 6"x6" wall tiles in a light color (all the same manufacturer)
