Leyland Cypress
About how much did you pay for yours(how many feet tall) and did you put them in yourself? We got a quote for 6 4ft trees $925, seems pricey..

Re: Leyland Cypress
you can check out stables garden nursery online...they have great prices and deliver --- if it is 925 with delivery and installation, it is still rather high :/

Stables has 4-5 foot Leyland Cypress trees for $40 on sale right now. Based on that, I think your quote is high.
We picked ours up and planted ourselves. It was not difficult, but we do all of our own gardening and yardwork. It was just a matter of figuring out how far apart to plant that is best for the height you want.

Re: Leyland Cypress
Last year we got a quote for these trees...12 2 ft ones for like $1k .. we ended up going to Lowes and buying the 3ft ones ourselves and saving a ton of money. The trees are doing great. Out of the 12 only 1 looks like it didnt grow within the year and might need to be replaced... however I think thats more bc of my dog destroying it than the actual tree.
Also lowes had a replacement guarantee like the other places I checked out.
ETA: I saw pretty decent looking ones at Costco recently.. $16... I think 5 foot
