Pet Peeve 2 - When someone constantly promotes their own business. If that's the case, become a LIF/LIW vendor all ready.

I agree, why cause unnecessary drama.
Actually I look at it as a learning experience. Had no idea the pancake bunny (although I've never posted it) actually annoyed people. I find comic relief in a drama ridden thread refreshing.
But to ANSWER the question,
-teen lingo (kewl, etc)
-people posting their kids'/babies' pictures on the NFR board - I think they should be XP if you're going to do that.
-posts obviously on the wrong board (yes I report you guys  )
-threads that are just shoutouts to people & inside jokes with no explantion to the general public (just FM each other ) - I'm not talking about the "Thank you Neenie for the airconditioner" posts --- I love to hear that board members are helping other board members.
eta. the constant links to LI Weddings. I'm married 6 years, I don't need it between posts. I'm hoping it's a space holder for sponsors & not a permanent thing.

My answer:
When you post something one day and a million people read it but you only get one response. Then, someone posts the SAME EXACT thing a few days later and it gets 50 responses. 
That makes me sad

I am not referring to anyone here in particular either BUT this has made me wonder if the people who dont post as much, would they if they didnt have as many pet peeves?

I am fine if people complain, but when you write back, really trying to help them and then they say nothing in return, and are back the next day or so still complaining about something new, I feel like it is for attention.
I also hate the "I'm broke but look what I bought" posts. Don't beyotch about money, then go spend it on clothing. I really hate this.
All in all, I enjoy what people write and the support. We tell each other we are beautiful, that our new hair is great, that it will work out, that we are friends even though we do not know one another....I like this. As for people who hardly post anything being annoying to others? Well, you have to start somewhere....so I don't get that.

My pet peeve is when people post their luxuries. I don't mean that to sound like people shouldn't share their excitement for things they've purchased, but I get annoyed when someone posts "I just bought a Gucci bag" just to post a that you have a Gucci bag. It's almost like bragging. KWIM???

Run on sentences that never end and they just keep going without taking a breath it makes me feel like I just ran a mile meanwhile I was just sitting at my desk the whole time know what I mean

But my number 1 pet peeve about LIF right now is.... ready?
THE NEW FLOOD OF ADS. I HATE them. The "sponsored by", the links to LIW in between posts (hello, married already!), the ads when I FM, the ADs when I reply to a thread, the ads when I get to the bottom of a thread... gee is there anywhere else we can cram an ad? Oh wait, I think I see a pixel of space in between the and the  Quick, jam an ad in there!
I understand people have to make their money and I guess it could be worse (even though most pop ups are blockable) but I just had to vent that one.

So its ok for someone to post a purchase as long as its not a name brand
I don't see it as bragging..
People work hard and they are excited if they get the opportunity to buy something like that
