LIRR Fare Hike
I'm probably living under a rock but just learned there will be a 23% increase starting March. That's another $49/mo. for me - that's B.S.!

Same for me. That's nearly $100 / mo. since DH and I both commute... Tack on DH's subway fare increase for school...

Yup...I am looking at $37 per month. I can't believe I'll be paying close to $200 to get from Bayside to midtown. I am just glad that I don't take the subway too - I think I'd have to move to a one fare zone.
