I also hate when people don't say excuse me. If you need me to move then just say "excuse me" and I will glady say "oh i'm sorry" and get out of your way but if you just push past me all huffy I will definitely say loudly "you know the phrase excuse me does exist and it works!"
Were you reading Cool Whip in the freezer aisle recently?

I HATE when people don't say "thank you"..when people don't say it I say "you're welcome" loud enough for them to hear me to get my point across.

I do it to cashiers and service people too. If the don't say thank you or have a nice day I will say directly to them "you have a nice day too"..
I am never rude just direct.
I work in customer service in a retail setting and the older I get the less I care too about confronting people and their rudeness. Its bad.
Not trying to excuse rude behavior at all. I also think that there is a huge lack of manners in our society today BUT I often don't say thank you or bless you after a sneeze or other things like that because I have a really bad stutter. Sometimes I just can't get the words out at all. I have a different type of stutter not like dddddddaffy duck it's that I open my mouth and nothing comes out. I can't physically get the word out. It's horrible esp when someone asks me my name. I can never get my name out for some reason and everyone looks at me like I'm an idiot thinking who the heck doesn't know their own name is this lady high!? It's embarrassing. So I often come across as weird or rude because I can't get the words out in time and by the time I can get it out like a minute later it's weird to say thanks after so much time has passed.

YES! This drives me bat sh!t.
Also when someone tells me to smile or be happy. I AM happy, I just don't need to be sitting here with a stupid grin plastered on my face all day long. I know I have resting b!tch face and I'm ok with that. You should be too.

 Exactly ... I am the same way.
Drives me batty to have someone ignore what is just common courtesy (at least, how I grew up!)... Please, Thank you, Your Welcome, Pardon me, Excuse me.. Not hard to do, IMO.
The older I get, the more vocal I am.. and the less I care what anyone thinks about me doing it...

"WHATEVER"! I find it to be the most rude statement anyone can say. My parents say it all the time when I'm disagreeing with them. Don't blow me off, have a conversation with me!
AHHHHHH!!!
And "adorbs" and "gorg" are NOT words!!!! Use all the letters!!!!
And don't type "K"...is the "O" really that difficult to type out?!?!?
And then there is the grammar part of it all, saying "Their going to the movies" or "I should of went to bed"!
AHHHHH!

When my sons AND boyfriend can't seem to get their pee INSIDE the toilet.....I am constantly bleaching the bowl, lids, the floor all around it (and what kills me is when it gets on the part that screws into the floor).
Really? How difficult is it to AIM???????? Get me NUTS!

When people can not make the effort to turn on their blinker. I mean really, it takes like .003 seconds and probably 2 muscles to flip it on.
and then you are sitting at an intersection wanting to turn left but you think they are going straight but instead they are just sitting there too in the middle of the road staring at you like YOU are the a$$hole.
Every.single. Effing. Morning. Same intersection
Can you tell it drives me insane?

A manager at my old job came to my desk one day and asked me a question.
As I was answering him, this asshole literally walked away.
HE LITERALLY turned around & walked away AS I was speaking to him, answering HIS question, helping HIM.
My vocal filter malfunctioned at that moment, and lets just say, I am very surprised I was still employed at that firm.

You would LOVE living in New Orleans then There is a reason Louisiana is the most expensive state for car insurance LOL! I'll take an asshole NY driver over a clueless LA driver any day of the week.
I swear they don't use blinkers because they are of the mindset that it's no ones business where they are going.

Driving Related -
When there's a designated turn lane in the middle of a busy road like say, Jericho Tpke, and someone just does not use it to turn.
They act like it's not there, COME TO A DEAD STOP, and make a left turn from the driving lane.

And yet, when I was in New Orleans helping out a few times after Katrina and there were no traffic lights working, everyone cooperated. I'd panic approaching a big five way intersection, until I found everyone was always looking out for everyone else, waving each other through. Such courtesy.
When I got back to Long Island, everyone was cutting everyone else off. So different.

Also, Katrina was a different time, everyone was on the same team! But, Yes thats the most shocking part... when traffic lights are out everyone and I mean EVERYONE takes their rightful turn proceed into the intersection. It's pretty dangerous with all the neutral grounds (medians in the road) so It was quite refreshing.

When people tell me to smile. I am not here for your entertainment! I have a severe case of RBF, and I have been hearing that my whole life. Now that I am an adult if I hear that I tell them to say something funny and that usually throws them off. That or a really scary fake smile
That and the phrase "not so much" makes me rage. It's so immature.

I didn't say it was a problem you serving me and doing your job. I'm simply thanking you because it's the polite thing to do.

even worse than this is when I'm in the supermarket or target or something and they're done ringing you up and they just stay silent.....ohhhh so I'm supposed to read my total myself you don't have to speak...cool...
