Live in Queens - Work in Long Island - Tax Question
Does anyone live in Queens (or in the City) and work in Long Island? If so, do you get taxed NYC taxes?
Anyone know?

You may or may not be taxed for NYC, but if you are - you get it back at the end of the year. If you are not taxed Local City taxes, you will owe them at the end of the year.

B/c you are a NYC resident, you will be subject to NYC tax when you file your tax returns. Your employer does not have to withhold NYC taxes, but it is a good idea to do so. Otherwise you will most likely owe that portion all at once when you file taxes.

I agree! I live in queens, and work in Nassau. Since I am a NYC resident I have to pay the NYC taxes as well
