Re: looking back on ur wedding?..
my wedding was expensive-- but it was worth it-- everyone had a blast and we have memories to last a lifetime. It was a classy, memorable affair and while I am happy it is over-- I loved planning it.
Now, about that 5 yr anniversary party..

Re: looking back on ur wedding?..
I would't change a thing about my wedding day. I would NEVER do the planning again though-lol! We were very lucky though as my parents paid for the wedding so we didn't have to save for that. We were young when we got married so I lived at home and my dh had an apartment. My dh paid his rent and we both saved for our future security on an apartment, furniture and our honeymoon.

Re: looking back on ur wedding?..
I would not change anything about my wedding day. For DH and I, it was a simply perfect day. We thought about eloping at one point but we couldn't imagine not having our wonderful friends and family by our sides on one of the most important days of our lives.

Re: looking back on ur wedding?..
I had wanted to elope, DH talked me out of it saying I would eventually regret not haveing EVERYONE there. I am so glad he did because the day was absolutely magical. It is such a personal decision though. As you have seen here and on LIW, everyone is so different and their fantasies are different too. My own fantasy was a barefoot wedding on the beach in the middle of the summer with my soon to be husband and a few of my closest friends and family. Then I actually met DH and that fantasy changed to an over the top wedding in the end of November where we invited 380 people. Some small intimate afair, huh? It really is something you and your SO have to decide on. Now, this is the 2nd q you ghave asked about eloping. Is there something we need to know? If so, Mazel Tov!! And even if not for right now, I am so glad things are going so well that you are considering asking these types of questions. I know you have been through a lot and you only deserve happiness.

Re: looking back on ur wedding?..
I'm torn, we spent ALOT of money that definitely could have been used for more important things, like buying a house or for the kids, but at the same time it's something we'll only do once so I'm glad we did the big wedding... I definitely would have regretted it if we didn't

Thank you I am definitly just asking out of curiosity for the moment : ) My bf and I have discussed..oh would u ever elope and such and such in a hypothetical way and we had a talk about weddings/marriage/eloping ...so it made me real happy that he even discusses this kinda stuff and believes in marriage, lasting a lifetime ya know : ) As for what will happen between him and I, time will tell lol BUT I can say that all u girls have def convinced me that in the future I would love a small intimate traditinal "white wedding" LOL..
