Looking for 4th bday party location ideas
My son will be turning 4 in January. I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for party locations. We had his 3rd birthday party at Alley Pond Environmental Center and it was absolutely perfect! He's a huge animal/nature lover so it was awesome. If it wasn't lame to do so, I'd have it there again this year haha. Are there any other locations with animals/nature type stuff that are open in January? We could always resort to one of the usual places, like a bouncy place or something, but I like to do unique things. I'd be open to other unique ideas aside from animal type places. Any suggestions? TIA!

Why not do it again? If your son loved it that much, as wells the kids who attended, I say go for it!

Not sure where you live, but my nephew had his 5th birthday party at the dinosaur museum in river head. It was a hit!

I probably should have mentioned that! I live in the Glen Head area. So Riverhead is a bit too far I think for a birthday party. Thank you for the suggestion though!

We did DS's 3rd at Alley Pond too... And then we did his 4th at Nunley's Carousel which was such a great party! We just went back for one this weekend and people were raving about it....

Science museum of Long Island at Leeds Pond Preserve: had an animal encounters birthday party.
Roosevelt Audubon center is quite nice too & has an encounter and a trail walk (similar to Alley Pond).
I think having it again at Alley Pond is also an option. DS keeps talking about his next "firetruck birthday party". I wouldn't hestitate to have it again: It's a different experience a year out.
If you go to most nature center websites, many offer parties!

Thank you! I didn't know about either one of these places, and both are pretty close to home for us. Just looked at their sites, and they both look like great possibilities. Thanks again!

Sure! Keep me updated. DD has a January birthday too & we will be doing something like this when she turns 3 (not this coming January!).
