Looking for ideas/suggestions . . .
I work full time (Mon-Fri) and Troy is in daycare full time. I feel like we don't have muc quality tome together.
I am looking for a class or something we can do together or I can take him to on Satirdays. Preferably something free or inexpensive. We live in Riverhead so I'd prefer somethimg here, but willing to go as far west as Lake Grove/Smithtown area.
TIA!

Check your local library to see what child programs they have. I live in Patchogue and our library offers many programs for all different ages from infants on up. I do find they can be geared towards SAHM because they're given during the week, but they also offer some programs on the weekends too.

I find the libraries normally don't have weekend programs. What about a museum membership so that you have a standing date? It might be cheaper than a class.
ETS: If you don't already have one, maybe a membership to the Riverhead Aquarium? The family membership price is like half what a short class session would run you.

It's not really a class, but there is that new play place opening sometime this month you can check out. Otherwise there is one in Hampton Bays too.
Sending you because i work FT too and all the good stuff happens during the week.

Re: Looking for ideas/suggestions . . .
My library has great evening and weekend classes that I do with my toddler. We actually see a lot of the same people each time, so we have developed a little group of friends from that as well. We also try to do a little activity each weekend alone with her as well. It changes all the time (we let her pick it) but its going to the playground, library, to get ice cream, to eat lunch at a restaurant, to a store she likes to go to, etc. We take turns doing it, so its special time for her. I just try to make everything that we do on the weekends count and be important.

Try looking into My Gym, Little Gym, Music Together. Many offer Saturday classes.

I was going to suggest Music Together, not sure the schedule but I foudn the price fair...
We just started M&M gymnastics and I am very happy with it, DS is very active and enjoyed the rolls and jumping, balance beam etc. They set it up like mini obstacle courses and DS enjoyed that. WE did class on Tuesday and he was exhausted....so was mommy!!!
