Losing a baby at 27 weeks
My brother just called from the hospital to tell me that my SIL hasn't felt the baby move for the last few days so the dr sent her to the hospital where a sono showed no heartbeat. They are inducing her now. My brother is hysterical. I don't even know what to say to them. I am in shock. How could this happen at 27 weeks?

Re: Losing a baby at 27 weeks
I HATE HATE HATE hearing posts like this. It makes me ill. Then to see that the poster has such few posts.... it makes me think.. NOT that you are a fakie or anything. It just makes me think if someone would actually tell a story like that to makes other preggers nervous.
I am sooooooooo sorry for you whole family!!!!! I can't even imagine what your brother and SIL are feeling right now. Many prayers out to them!!!! So so sad!!!!!!
Note to other preggers......
Please don't let sad stories liek this effect you. I know it's easier said than done. But try!

Are you serious? Just because people haven't responded to her post makes you question the validity of it???? Also, she is not looking to scare other pregnant women, she obviously is destraut and looking for comfort. Wow!
To the OP, I am so sorry for your brother/families loss. I couldn't begin to imagine what your SIL is going through right now. It's crappy, but sometimes there just doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to why things happen. Just be there for your brother and SIL when they need you.

I dont think Cakes was questioning the validity of the post...she was trying to comfort all of the readers (who all happen to be pregnant)....

I agree.
I'm sooo sorry to hear this. It's absolutely a tragedy and I hope that they have a good support system to help them through the days to follow. Your poor SIL - I can't even begin to imagine.

's for your family. Unfortunately complications can arise anytime during a pregnancy. There is no point in a pregnancy when it is failproof.
