Lovenox Ladies, have you levels ever been really high?
I just got a call from my Dr saying that i need to go to the lab for an emergenct repeat blood work this morning because my levels were very high. I'm 13 weeks and my levels last month were fine. Anyone ever experience this? Of course I googled and now i'm freaking out a bit

Hi I am on Levenox ~ Do you go for blood work on a regular basis?
Since I have been on it ~ I haven't been checked yet. I go to a high risk dr and they never send me for blood work. hmmmmm
Good Luck! I hope everything is ok

I'm on Lovenox 1x a day, and have my levels checked evey month. When I see my perinatologist in 2 weeks, he'll tell me if I should keep it at once a day or increase to twice.

Thanks ladies! I went for repeat bloodwork this morning so hopefully it comes back ok this time!!!!
Mooshyboo, my Lovenox levels are checked monthly by my High risk Dr. I have to go to the lab every month and have my blood drawn exactly 4 hours after my shot. How long have you been on the shots?

Re: Lovenox Ladies, have you levels ever been really high?
I have been on Levenox since my 6 weeks of pregnancy (I am 16 weeks) and I will be on it until 6 weeks after I give birth. Maybe we are on it for different reasons and that is why ~ I asked if I had to take blood tests to monitor my blood level and was told no. I am on it for a blood clotting issue (Factor v leiden) I found out I had this after I threw a blood clot after my first son two weeks after my c-section. I had to be on Coumadin with the blood clot and had to be monitored a lot so I was kind of familiar that is why I asked. I am going to double check with my doctor when I go back on the 27th.
Good Luck with your new test results!
