Low platelets
Anyone have this during pregnancy? I did my glucose test the other day and they called with the results. The test was fine but they found that I had low platelets and want me to see a hematologist. Anyone go through this?

I had this when I was pregnant with my DD. It came up in my bloodwork. I ended up being monitored by a hematologist but it was fairly late in my pregnancy, the last couple of months. I would go in for a blood draw and they would look at my count. I ended up taking an OTC iron supplement.
It was fine. I think if your platelet count is too low it can affect labor and delivery but it never got to that point for me.
