make ahead desserts
We're having a big BBQ on Sunday and I plan on making a couple of different desserts (probably a mix of cookies, bars, and cupcakes!). What type of desserts would be the easiest to make ahead of time that I can store for a couple of days (if I baked them on say Thurs-Fri?) I'm guessing cookies would be easy. Do you think cupcakes would be good? What about brownies?
Thanks!!

Re: make ahead desserts
Cookies, brownies and bars would all be fine.
I've made cupcakes 2 days in advance and frosted them the day of with no problem (storing the baked cucpakes in an airtight container).
These brownies actually tasted better after 2 days (stored in fridge):
Peanut Butter Cup Crunch Brownie Bars
I just made these last weekend and they were a hit and would probably keep well: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Thank you so much! I love Brown Eyed Baker- so many good recipes. The PB Chocolate chip cookie bars look delicious!!
