Making anything special for Valentine's Day dinner?
Hubby is making dinner for us. I'm just happy to be out of the kitchen. He is making steak and shrimp. I did make brownies for dessert.

Re: Making anything special for Valentine's Day dinner?
We are staying in. I am making cheese fondue with Gruyere and Emmenthaler cheese (traditional), and a variety of dippers (bread, veggies, potatoes, hard sausage, etc.). I will put the electric fondue pot I got at my bridal shower almost 7 years ago to good use (that way DH can stop saying I never use it, why did we get it, etc.! )
We will have prosecco, too, and I bought chocolate pudding parfaits for dessert. I wanted to make something homemade but it's been a busy week and busy day today.
Hope everyone enjoys their dinners! They all sound delish!

We have some haagen daas for dessert - I figure it won't go bad if we are too full to have it tonight.

It's actually Giada DeLaurentiis' recipe on Foodnetwork.com. Totally worth it!
